UNI
UNI is a work by artist Alexandre Orion, created through the PROAC Expresso Aldir Blanc Law Grant No. 51/2020.
The work was produced in São Paulo in September 2021, and the resulting exhibition was exhibited on the São Paulo Metro's Culture Line on a traveling basis, at República, Luz, and Alto do Ipiranga stations, and remained on display until February 2022.

About the Project
UNI is an original project by Alexandre Orion. In this series of portraits, the artist depicts different personalities posed in interactions with a luminous silhouette in the center of the frame. This is the only light source in the photos, unlike the "norm" of points of light behind the camera and in the background of the subject. "UNI portrays the human being through a single silhouette of light, a collective aura that unites us by illuminating our diversity. It's not just a portrait. It's the record of an existence, of everything we represent, of everything we positively transform in the world," says Orion.
