Desejos S.A.

Desejos S.A. is a Brazilian anthology series produced by Star+. Under the general direction of José Alvarenga Jr. and Mariana Youssef, it has a script by the director in partnership with André Brandt, Martin Bustos and Horacio Convertini based on an original idea by Horacio. The first season premiered on March 27, 2024 on the streaming service. It features performances by Alejandro Claveaux, Gilda Nomacce, Carol Castro, Isabela Galvão, Fábio Herford and Silvero Pereira in the main roles.

It was filmed in the city of São Paulo, between November and December 2022.

Synopsis

A certain client, seduced by burning desires that transcend logic, decides to seek the services of Desires Inc., an enigmatic entity that promises to fulfill any request under the motto "Whatever you want, whenever you want it." In exchange for the immediate fulfillment of his wishes, in addition to a symbolic fee, he agreed to fulfill a counterpart: to assist in the fulfillment of another client's wish upon request. Refusal of this crucial part of the agreement could result in extremely severe consequences. As not all wishes are fulfilled as expected, a web of confusion unfolds, dragging the protagonists into activities that challenge their moral convictions. As they try to escape this apparent curse of the "chain of desires," they witness the devastating impact that their own desires have on the lives of the other participants. Determined to find a way out of this vicious cycle, they find themselves forced to face ethical dilemmas and confront the consequences of their selfish desires.
