Manhãs de Setembro is a Brazilian drama television series that premiered on Prime Video on June 25, 2021. The series is directed by Luís Pinheiro and Dainara Toffoli and stars Liniker, Thomás Aquino and Karine Teles. Manhãs de Setembro was nominated in the best drama category at the 34th edition of the Glaad Media Awards, an award that celebrates artists and productions inserted in the LGBTQIA+ community.
The second season was filmed in São Paulo, between September and October 2021.

Synopsis
Manhãs de Setembro tells the story of Cassandra (Liniker), a trans woman who works as a motorcycle courier in São Paulo and whose greatest strength is music. She had to leave her city to fulfill her dream of becoming a cover singer for Vanusa, a Brazilian singer who was successful in the 70s. After years of suffering, Cassandra is now experiencing a moment of stability: she manages to rent an apartment of her own and discovers love in the person of Ivaldo (Thomas Aquino). But everything gets complicated when her ex-girlfriend, Leide (Karine Teles), reappears with a boy who claims to be her son.
